Associate Benefits

Samuels Jewelers, Inc. offers a comprehensive benefits package. All regular, full-time Associates are eligible for the following benefits:

Medical Insurance. You have three levels of coverage to chose from: Silver, Gold or Platinum. Each level has a different deductible and co-pay. You may chose the level that best meets you and your family's needs. The Company contributes approximately 60% of the cost for the medical Insurance.

Dental Insurance. You can go to the dentist of your choice! Preventive Services are covered at 100% and you do not have to meet the deductible. Basic Services are covered at 80% after deductible is met. Major Services are covered at 50% after deductible is met.

Flexible Spending Account Options. You may choose to participate in the Health Care Flexible Spending Account and/or the Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account (commonly known as FSAs). The FSAs allow you to set aside before-tax money to pay yourself back for eligible health care and dependent care expenses.

401(k) Plan. Associates over 21 years of age are eligible to participate in Samuels Jewelers' 401(k) Plan after completing 30 days of employment. The company also contributes a discretionary match.

Paid Vacation. You start earning vacation on your first day of employment!
1-5yrs - 10 days
5-12yrs - 15 days
12yrs-+ - 20 days

Paid Sick Time. You earn 6 paid sick days per year.

Paid Holidays. Samuels Jewelers observes six holidays. Should an Associate be scheduled to work on a holiday, he or she will be paid the holiday pay (straight time) in addition to the hours actually worked.
